Guam Day 6 - Adam gets to turn a wrench

2/18/2022 - Another warm and beautiful day on Guam, Friday started out as any other in the week with 85 degree temps, full sun and the smell of salty seashore in the air. I had enough things to accomplish back at the tiny house so I let Joan take the car in to work, this meant I could sleep in, so I thought. 5 mins after I said have a good day at work, my phone rings with a panicked Joan on the other side saying she has had a flat tire. My response was no biggie, drive it back since you are close and we will put the spare on. Joan reminded me that this why she married me, for my mechanical skills in times of dire need. I was happy to finally get to use my wrench turning knowledge on an automotive product. It is great thanks to Joan that she said no to a wrench kit last week at the market, otherwise the Mazda would have been a part days back getting "upgrades". Guam Day 66 - Spring Flowers from April Showers

4/19/2022 - The backyard is in full bloom again with some of the rain we have had. I have talked about this before, the flowers here seem to have multiple bloom seasons per year, Guam seems to always have something blossoming. Our host family also does a great job keeping up with all the plants around here. Vilma has been selling plants on and off as a side hustle. Great chance to work on some of my photography composition skills.  I have not been able to find what the first two types of flowers are, I need to ask Vilma again. The bottom picture I have been told is a rare orchid. A future updated post as we learn more.
